NOTE - If a requester wants to obtain records in-person, they must stick to a number of rules in Cherokee County. The opening hours for the Cherokee County office is 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. (recording till 3:30 p.m.) CST from Monday to Friday. A requester must bring a photo ID with them too. Examples of an acceptable form of photo ID include a driver’s license or state ID. Each and every public record request must be put in writing to be successful.
