Every last sex offender in Clark County is kept on an up-to-date register. These include anyone in Clark County who is living, working, in prison, or attending school. The Court of Appeals in Kansas has the power to oversee any decision made by lower courts when an appeal is made. These lower courts are made up of the 105 superior or trial courts found across the state's 105 counties, including Clark County.

Clark County records do come at a cost, regrettably. The first copies of birth records in Clark County cost $15. Similarly, death records cost $15 for the first copy requested. The first copies of marriage records in Clark County cost $15.

NOTE - If a requester in Clark County wishes to receive a record in-person, they must adhere to a number of rules. Firstly, the Clark County office is open between 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. CST from Monday to Friday. Photo ID is needed to obtain records in-person in Clark County. Acceptable photo IDs include driver's licenses and state IDs. A requester must also put each public record request in writing in Clark County.
