Hamilton County Public Records

Requesters must pay for records when applying for them in Hamilton County. In Hamilton County, the first copy of their desired birth record costs $15. In Hamilton County, a requester has to pay $15 for the first copy of their desired death record. In Hamilton County, all marriage records cost $15 for the first initial copy.

NOTE - If a requester wants to get records in-person, they must follow a number of rules in Hamilton County. Firstly, the office is only open from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. CST from Monday to Friday. In order to be granted a copy of a record, a requester must also be able to show some form of photo identification. Acceptable photo IDs include driver's licenses and state IDs.
